At Affordable Home Designs, we helped a family in Stourbridge, turn their dream into reality. Unable to find a four-bedroom detached home within budget in their desired location, they purchased a smaller property and enlisted us to help them expand it. The goal was to add a fourth bedroom and create a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining area, enhancing their living space.

The project includes a two-storey side extension with a garage on the ground floor and a luxurious master bedroom with en-suite above. At the rear, a single-storey extension delivers a bright open-plan kitchen/dining room overlooking the garden. Design highlights feature matching brickwork, a new pitched roof with modern tiles, black double-glazed windows and doors, and a striking vaulted ceiling with Velux rooflights for added light and space downstairs.

The design and application process took about four months, with construction also completed in around four months, delivering a timely and impressive result.
